The Junior Mariner Program is a new, multidisciplinary course designed to introduce young adults to maritime culture, science, and seamanship in a rigorous hands-on manner. Focused on children entering grades 8th - 12th, with kids learning onboard Cape Cod Maritime Museum vessel SARAH and in the museum's classroom.

The overarching goal of the Junior Mariner Program is to introduce Cape Cod residents and visitors to the widest possible array of maritime experiences to instill an appreciation of, and a curiosity about, the maritime world and its many vocational and avocational benefits and opportunities.
