Grants help 3 Cape Cod nonprofits thrive

The Cape Cod Maritime Museum raised above and beyond what it ever imagined to fund a summer camp program for children interested in marine biology.

“We never know who we might inspire by handling a lobster or handling a hermit crab or seeing the tide marks on a buoy, or helping us navigate on a compass,” said Elizabeth York, the museum's executive director. “We may have a future marine biologist who never thought of it as a future (career), or a future boat captain.”
